Please read these terms and conditions carefully, if you do not agree with them, do not use this website. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. By using Horse-Vis website, you signify your agreement to be bound by these terms. These terms and conditions only apply to web site sales.

Our terms and conditions comply with UK legislation and are designed to ensure that our customers can shop easily and with confidence with Horse-Vis.  We will endeavor to provide uninterrupted, error free access to the website, however this cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the Internet. Occasionally your access may be suspended or restricted to allow updates, upgrades or repairs, we will try to ensure that this is for the shortest time possible.

These terms and conditions are governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Our Contract (Order)

The information we require from you when placing the order is for billing and delivery purposes.  When an order is placed to purchase goods from Horse-Vis, an email will be sent confirming receipt of the order and the order details.  A contract between you and Horse-Vis will only take place once the order has been accepted at which point your credit/debit card will be charged then processed and items dispatched.


All products are offered in £ sterling and inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate where applicable.  Any exceptions will be clearly marked on the website where relevant. On very rare occasions due to human error products may appear mispriced, as part of our order confirmation email, prices are verified.  If the correct price is lower than advertised we will charge the lower price and send you the product.  If the correct price is higher, we will either contact you to advice and request instructions before dispatch or cancel the order notifying you accordingly.  .

International customers

Whilst this website is designed with UK customers in mind, we welcome enquiries from customers in other countries. Prices include UK Sales Tax (VAT), currently at 20%, which may not be payable by international customers; however, additional delivery charges will apply. Please telephone and we will do our best to assist.  Any customs or import duties due when your package reaches its destination country will be your responsibility.  We have no knowledge of other countries customs policies as they vary from country to country.  Contact your local customs officer for full details and regulations.


Credit or Debit card, we accept any major credit card (except Diners card and American Express) or debit card via our website or by telephone.


PayPal is used throughout this site to provide secure transactions and payments.


Please allow 10 working days for your payment to clear.  Cheques should be made payable to Horse-Vis Ltd.  After cheques are cleared will your order be processed and subsequently dispatched.

Please note that the colour of images shown on this website may be affected by the technology used to access it. Whilst we do our best to faithfully reproduce colours, some variation may occur.

Accepting Orders and Security

When you place an order, either by telephone or in writing, we will treat it as an offer to buy. If we accept your order, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with your order number, at which point we make a legal contract with you. However, we will be entitled to refuse to accept your order if we feel it necessary, in which case we will e-mail you as soon as we can to let you know.

When you receive your e-mail confirmation, you will have an opportunity to check the details and correct any errors.

In deciding whether to accept your order we may use the information you have given to us, or which we receive from any enquiry we may make with various agencies, to confirm your identity. This protect both of us from fraudulent transactions. If we decline your offer on security grounds we may contact you to seek an alternative payment method.


A signature is required at the time of delivery, the goods will not be left if a signature cannot be obtained.  You can either have your goods delivered to your home address or you can enter an alternative delivery address, then you know someone will be there to sign for the goods.


Processing & Dispatch will take up to 14 working days.

Quoted Delivery

When the goods you are purchasing have ‘quoted delivery’ added, the goods are either heavy or an irregular shape and there may be an additional delivery charge, please contact us for a delivery quote.

Delivery Outside the UK

We are able to deliver goods to most places outside the UK.

We aim to dispatch goods from our warehouse within 5 working days. Occasionally at busy times this may take a little longer. You will be notified by email if it is anticipated that delivery will take longer than our stated time. We can advise on your delivery if you telephone 07429 345545 for details.


Due to the nature of our manufacturing, we cannot accept goods for return or exchange if they have been persona used in anyway, unless there is a manufacturing fault. A manufacturing fault is deemed to be anything to do with the stitching of the harness or fault with the clips.

You must make your own arrangements to return goods to us, you will be responsible for the cost of return.   We recommend that you obtain proof of postage as you are responsible for the goods until they arrive at our warehouse, if there is found to be a manufacturing fault, a refund will be issued for the returned postage, the product then can then be exchanged or refunded.

We cannot accept goods for return or exchange if they have been personalised in anyway.

Exchanges are subject to additional shipping cost.

Transit Damage

All goods are examined in detail by ourselves prior to despatch to ensure that they leave our warehouse in perfect condition. However, transit damage unfortunately can occur. If your purchase is showing obvious signs of transit damage upon delivery, please refuse to accept delivery and notify us immediately. If damage is only evident upon opening of packaging, then you must inform us within 24 hours of receipt. In either case, once returned back to our warehouse, we will then arrange re-delivery of replacement goods as soon as possible.


Our products are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of receipt, providing you have the receipt and they are used in accordance with the purpose of manufacture.   Goods are fully guaranteed against faults in manufacture, materials or workmanship for a period of 12 months from delivery. These promises do not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse. Should the items be damaged in anyway due to misuse, field, stable or horse damage the guarantee will be null and void. If we feel it is necessary goods will be returned to the factory for examination.  All goods returned must be in clean condition free from dirt and mud.


Sales on this web site are governed by English law and you agree to submit any dispute to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All orders are subject to these terms and conditions and no amendments will be accepted by us. These terms and conditions do not affect your legal rights.  We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only and that we do not file copies of customer contracts.  These terms and conditions only cover the Horse-Vis Limited web site. Any other web sites to which you link from this site may be governed by their own terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content of web sites which are not under our control.
